REGULATIONS FOR THE USE OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY “Kreatywny Świat” Sp. z o.o. IN ESCAPE ROOMS LOCATED AT J.S. Bacha St. 2 IN WARSAW
(hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations”)
§ 1
Definitions
Whenever the following terms appear in these Regulations, they shall be understood as follows:
Organizer – means “Kreatywny Świat” spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (limited liability company) with its registered office at ul. J.S. Bacha 2/49, 02-743 Warsaw (Tax ID [NIP]: 5214082630, Statistical ID [REGON]: 529441660);
Place of service provision – means the use of the Organizer’s services at ul. J.S. Bacha 2 (3rd floor) in Warsaw;
Player – means a person staying in the escape room in order to take part in solving the puzzles prepared by the Organizer;
Client – means a person who books the escape room on their own behalf or on behalf of other Players. In the event the Client who has booked the escape room does not participate in the game, one of the Players becomes the Client;
Game – means staying in the escape room made available by the Organizer, where the Players solve puzzles;
Escape room – means the room reserved by the Client, in which Players solve the puzzles;
Escape room reservation – means an application to participate in the Game, indicating the date, exact start time of the Game, and the number of Game participants;
Game Master – means a person designated by the Organizer to oversee a particular group of Players before and during the Game;
Event – means a social event organized in cooperation between the Client and the Organizer;
Voucher – means a document confirming payment for an escape room reservation without indicating a specific date of its use or a specific escape room.
§ 2
General Provisions
Both the Client and the Players are obliged to familiarize themselves with these Regulations and to accept its provisions.
Both the Client and the Players are obliged to comply with all the provisions of these Regulations.
The following are prohibited on the premises of the Place of service provision:
a) smoking cigarettes, including electronic cigarettes;
b) consuming alcohol;
c) using substances that have effects similar to alcohol.These prohibitions apply to both the escape rooms and all common areas (such as corridors, staircases, the reception area, elevators, and restrooms).
The Organizer reserves the right to refuse participation in the Game to those Players who fail to observe the prohibitions referred to in items 3 and 4, as well as in the event there is reason to suspect that a Player has arrived at the Place of service provision under the influence of alcohol or other substances with similar effects.
The refusal of participation in the Game applies only to the individual who fails to comply with the above prohibitions. The remaining Players themselves decide whether they will proceed with the Game.
In the event that one or more Players are refused participation, neither the Client nor the Players are entitled to a refund of any costs incurred for reserving the escape room. This also applies in a situation where the remaining (non-excluded) Players decide to forgo the Game for the entire group.
In all escape rooms, taking pictures and making video recordings is prohibited. This prohibition does not apply to common areas, such as corridors or the reception area.
It is forbidden to bring sharp or blunt objects, weapons, flammable materials, tools, or any other items that could pose a threat to the health or life of Players or escape room staff, or that could cause damage to the Organizer’s property, onto the premises of the Place of service provision.
§ 3
General Rules for Participation in the Game
I. Players’ Age and Contraindications for Participation
The minimum age of a Player is 8 years old, except for the “Saw” escape room, where the minimum age is 16.
For Players aged 8 to 13, the constant presence of a parent or guardian in the escape room is required. The parent/guardian must be an adult or a person with legal capacity.
The Organizer counts the parent/guardian as one of the Players toward the limit of the number of Players allowed in the escape room, and the parent/guardian is obliged to comply with the provisions of the Regulations under the same conditions as the other Players.
The Organizer states that participation in the Game is not recommended for:
a) pregnant women;
b) persons with claustrophobia or epilepsy;
c) persons undergoing psychiatric treatment;
d) persons suffering from anxiety disorders or especially sensitive to sounds and images that may cause psychological discomfort;
e) persons suffering from asthma or other respiratory conditions;
f) persons with cardiovascular insufficiency or other circulatory disorders.– All the above-mentioned individuals may only participate in the Game at their own risk.
In the case of a Player who is disabled or has reduced mobility, participation must be agreed upon in each instance with the Organizer’s staff.
The Organizer is not liable for any negative health consequences experienced by a Player who decides to participate in the Game despite any of the above contraindications, nor for any consequences such a Player’s participation might have on other Game participants.
II. Rules of Conduct for Participation
Players are required to arrive at the Place of service provision on time, no later than the exact time for which the Game was booked or scheduled to start.
The Game’s duration is time-limited to a maximum of:
“Vikings: The Phantom of Ragnarök” room – up to 80 minutes
“Saw: Bloody Rules” room – up to 70 minutes
“Pirates: Caribbean Gold” room – up to 80 minutes
“Polish School of Magic” room – up to 101 minutes
Should Players be late for their scheduled start time, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse them participation in the Game.
Refusal to allow late Players to participate does not entitle them to any refund of the fee paid for the escape room.
Players who finish the Game before the scheduled end time may not claim a partial refund of the costs incurred.
The recommended number of Players in a given room is 2 to 6 persons. The Organizer does allow a greater number of people, up to 10. However, Players acknowledge that exceeding 6 persons may reduce comfort due to the room’s limited space.
The Organizer designates a Game Master for each group of Players.
The Game Master’s duties include:
a) Before the Game:Informing the Players about the general outline of the story used to solve puzzles in the escape room;
Informing them about safety rules in the escape room;
Informing them of any factors that may cause physical or psychological discomfort;
b) During the Game:Constantly monitoring the Game;
Providing hints for solving puzzles;
Responding to any situations that may threaten Players’ health or life;
Deactivating any puzzles that Players do not want or cannot solve for reasons specific to the group – upon the Players’ request;
c) After the Game:Ensuring all Players can leave the escape room safely;
Checking the technical condition of the escape room after the Players have left.
Puzzles in the escape room may be:
a) Physical/coordination-based;
b) Logical and mathematical;
c) Memory-based;
d) Based on the Player’s knowledge;
e) Requiring the cooperation of the group of Players.In some escape rooms, the presence of an actor is also envisaged; Players will be informed of this before the Game starts.
Players are not required to solve all the puzzles designed for a given room. However, if they decide not to solve a particular puzzle, they must inform the Organizer.
§ 4
Specific Obligations of the Client and the Player Using the Escape Room
The Client is obliged to familiarize the Players, on whose behalf they booked the room, with the provisions of these Regulations as well as with the privacy policy implemented by the Organizer.
Where underage persons participate in the Game, the reservation must be made by a person aged 18 or older.
The Organizer allows a reservation to be made by a Client under 18 years of age provided that:
a) The Client is at least 16 years old;
b) The reservation is made with the knowledge and consent of the Client’s parent/guardian.The Organizer reserves the right to:
a) Contact the minor Client’s parent/guardian to confirm the information obtained from the minor Client, and the minor is obliged, at the Organizer’s request, to provide data enabling such contact;
b) Refuse to allow the Client to play if it is impossible to contact the minor Client’s parent/guardian.The rules set out in § 4(1) and (4) apply to both Clients and Players participating in the Game.
Upon arrival at the Place of service provision, the Client/Player is required to submit statements:
a) In the case of underage participants:Regarding the Players’ ages, if any Players are from 8 to 13 years old;
Identifying who is supervising the underage Players;
b) If both minors and adults are participating in the Game:A statement that one of the adult Players will serve as a guardian for the underage Players;
c) In the case of only adults participating:A statement that all Players are 18 years or older.
An escape room reservation may be made in any of the following ways:
a) Electronically, via the booking service www.lockme.pl, as described by that platform’s separate terms of service;
b) Electronically, via the Organizer’s website www.kreatywnyswiatescaperoomwarszawa.pl;
c) By telephone, calling +48 797 793 678;
d) In person, at the Place of service provision (ul. J.S. Bacha 2, 3rd floor, in the reception room).When making an electronic or in-person reservation, the Client is obliged to provide the following data:
a) Date and time of the escape room reservation;
b) Number of Players;
c) Name of the reserved escape room;
d) Payment method;
e) Data enabling contact with the Client (email address, phone number);
f) Request for an invoice, if applicable, along with the data needed for the Organizer to issue it.The reservation form contains information about the Game’s duration, the recommended and permissible number of Players, the price of reserving the escape room, as well as any contraindications for participation.
After making an electronic reservation, the Client will receive a confirmation of the reservation at the email address provided.
In the case of an in-person reservation at the Place of service provision, payment in cash in Polish currency is acceptable, to be made no later than at the time of making the reservation.
By making the reservation, the Client states that they have read the Organizer’s privacy policy and that they consent to the processing of their personal data for the purpose of fulfilling the service.
A refund of the costs incurred for the reservation is possible only if the reservation is canceled no less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time.
§ 5
Scope of the Organizer’s Responsibility and Rights
The Organizer is not liable for any damages or injuries sustained during the Game, in particular those arising from:
a) Improper use of the escape room;
b) Concealment of circumstances that would prevent participation;
c) Submission of false information regarding the Players’ age.The Organizer reserves the right to interrupt the Game in case of actions by the Players that are not related to the Game but are violent or aggressive in nature or may cause damage to the Organizer’s property. In such a situation, the Client/Players are not entitled to a refund of costs, and the Players’ behavior may serve as grounds for the Organizer to initiate claims for compensation.
The Organizer is not responsible for any property brought by persons into the Place of service provision, whether left in the escape room or in common areas.
The Organizer is responsible for the proper technical condition of the equipment found in the escape rooms.
In the event the service is not performed at all or is improperly performed, the Client/Players have the right to file a complaint.
Complaints must be submitted in writing, no later than 14 days from the date of the service.
Complaints may be submitted:
a) In paper form, sent to the Organizer’s Place of service provision by mail (Polish Post) or by a courier/transport company;
b) Electronically, at the following address: biuro@kreatywnyswiat.plThe complaint must include:
a) The date the service was provided;
b) The reservation number;
c) The name and surname of the person filing the complaint and their contact details;
d) Specific objections regarding the performance of the service.The Organizer is obliged to reply to the Client’s complaint within 14 days from the date the complaint is received.
The Organizer is not liable for failure to perform or improper performance of the service for reasons beyond the Organizer’s control, e.g., power outages, heating malfunctions in the escape rooms, or the failure of the electronic reservation system.
§ 6
Player Safety Rules in the Escape Room
The Game in the escape room is monitored by cameras, and the Organizer’s staff continuously follows the proceedings. By accepting these Regulations, the Players consent to image and sound monitoring.
The escape room is not locked in such a way as to prevent leaving at any time during the Game.
Participation in the Game may involve exposure to factors such as:
a) Liquids or gases with unpleasant odors or tastes, sometimes imitating natural secretions;
b) Elements that may cause psychological discomfort or fear, including lighting effects and high-intensity sounds;
c) Highly realistic elements that may disturb sensitive individuals;
d) Vulgar content.The use of the above factors in the Game does not constitute grounds for any claims against the Organizer.
If a Player experiences any discomfort that could affect the continued course of the Game, they must immediately inform the Organizer.
Communication with the Organizer takes place using monitoring devices that record both sound and image. The Organizer is obliged to monitor the Game in the room and to respond promptly to any verbal attempt by Players to communicate.

Each escape room has a safety button that any Player feeling a threat to their health or life can use. The Game Master explains how and when to use this button before the Game begins.
Unjustified use of the safety button may result in the Game being stopped. In such a situation, the Players are not entitled to a refund of any costs.
§ 7
Event Organization
I. General Principles of Event Organization
It is possible to organize Events in the escape rooms and in common areas.
Queries regarding the organization of Events should be directed to the email address biuro@kreatywnyswiat.waw.pl or by phone at +48 797 793 678.
The rules for organizing an Event are agreed upon between the Client and the Organizer via a bilateral contract, which reflects email communications and the Event organization principles set out in these Regulations.
This contract is concluded with an adult who has full legal capacity.
The contract includes:
a) The date, start, and end time of the Event;
b) The number of participants, indicating any underage participants;
c) The conditions for supervising underage participants;
d) The scope of services provided, including additional services such as catering, room décor, entertainment for participants, etc.;
e) The scope of liability of both the Client and the Organizer;
f) The cost of the Event service, and the time and method of payment;
g) A statement that the Client has read and accepts these Regulations and the Organizer’s privacy policy;
h) Other contractual provisions.The contract is sent to the Client at the email address provided.
The contract is concluded through:
a) Mailing a signed copy by post to the address indicated by the Organizer; or
b) Sending a scanned copy of the signed contract by email; or
c) An email statement by the Client confirming acceptance of the contract sent by the Organizer.The Event reservation is considered confirmed after a deposit of 40% of the total cost of the service is paid.
The Client must pay the deposit in the manner specified by the Organizer in the contract, no later than 3 days after making the reservation. Failure to pay this deposit within the specified timeframe is understood to mean that the Client has decided to withdraw from organizing the Event.
The remaining amount must be paid by the Client no later than 72 hours before the planned start of the Event.
If the Event is reserved less than 3 days before its planned start, the Client must pay 100% of the Event’s cost on the day of reservation.
The Client may withdraw from the Event organization contract up to 7 days before the scheduled start of the Event. In the case referred to in the preceding section (reservations made fewer than 3 days before the Event), withdrawal can take place up to the planned start date, but will not entitle the Client to any refund of the fees paid.
Once the time indicated as the end of the Event has passed, participants are obliged to leave the Place of service provision.
The Client booking the Event service bears full and sole liability for any damage to the Organizer’s property or personal injury caused by improper conduct of the Event participants, as well as any financial losses incurred by the Organizer resulting, among other things, from participants’ failure to vacate the Place of service provision at the indicated time.
A VAT invoice may be issued. A Client who wishes to receive a VAT invoice must inform the Organizer when concluding the Event organization contract and provide the data necessary to issue the invoice.
II. Event Regulations
Event participants undertake to arrive punctually at the Place of service provision.
The Organizer provides a VIP lounge where Event participants can spend time not devoted to playing in the escape room(s).
As part of the Event, participants may play in at least one escape room.
When reserving the escape room(s) for Event participants, the same general limits on the number of Players set out in these Regulations apply. The Event Client may increase these limits by one additional person per escape room.
If it is not possible to play in the escape room originally reserved, the Organizer may offer participants a different room.
Event participants bear sole responsibility for damage they cause. In the case of minors, responsibility for any damage they cause is borne by their parents or legal guardians.
§ 8
Voucher Redemption
The Client may purchase a voucher from the Organizer for a Game in the escape room.
A voucher may be purchased via www.lockme.pl or in person at the Place of service provision at ul. J.S. Bacha 2 (3rd floor) in Warsaw.
A voucher may be used within 90 days of purchase, or by the date stated on the voucher if one is provided.
The person redeeming the voucher is obliged to observe the Organizer’s Regulations.
The person redeeming the voucher signs the documents arising from these Regulations in paper form at the Place of service provision before the Game begins.
Lack of acceptance of the Regulations or refusal to sign the documents related to the escape room reservation service under the conditions specified by the Organizer makes it impossible to redeem the voucher. No refund of the voucher’s purchase price shall be given in that case.
§ 9
Final Provisions
In matters not regulated by these Regulations, the relevant provisions of the Polish Civil Code shall apply.
The Client and Players bear sole responsibility for any damage resulting from non-compliance with these Regulations.
The Regulations are available electronically and are provided to every Client upon electronic reservation of the escape room. A paper copy is also available for inspection at the Place of service provision – the reception at ul. J.S. Bacha 2 (3rd floor) in Warsaw.
Lack of acceptance of the Regulations means that the Players will not be admitted to the Game.
The annexes to these Regulations form an integral part hereof. Acceptance of the Regulations also means acceptance of the annexes.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Regulations at any time. Any changes shall take effect on the day following the date of their announcement by the Organizer.
The administrator of the Clients’ and Players’ personal data is “Kreatywny Świat” spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością with its registered office in Warsaw at ul. J.S. Bacha 2/49, 02-743 Warsaw (NIP: 5214082630, REGON: 529441660).
§ 10
Date of Entry into Force of the Regulations
The Regulations come into force on February 8, 2025 (as amended on April 4, 2025).
